#TUNISIA’s dignity, democracy and prowess will take longer to recover than the Tunisian people will have patience for. Moderates will wane, hardliners will gain. Politicians always find a way to disappoint. «Non più una cultura che consoli nelle sofferenze, ma una cultura che protegga dalle sofferenze, che le combatta.» écrivait #ElioVit torini. Replace “cultura” by “etica” AND “politica”. Ethics? Politics? Most important not to humiliate nor offend anyone anywhere. President #BejiCaïdEssebsi needs to step way up, up, up, his game. First task? Recruiting. Recruiting. Recruiting. The best women + men to serve this country at every level, for every sec tor (Health, Education, Economy, Culture, Sport, Diplomacy, ..): field-ready patriotic young competent public servants. From all horizons, in and out of Tunisia. At a press conference, I met with Mr. Wang Yi, Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs. I enquired: what happened between the 1940’s Mao and 1970s China’s industrialization? Minister Yi answered: we were busy educating the men and women to lead these industries. Pragmatism. Psychology. Realism. ‎Tunisia did it back in 1956 but when a system is unable to treat its 2015 vital problems, it decays or it generates a meta system able to h andle its problems. Metamorphosis is a must than the galvaudé Thawra (Revolution). Why? Because we will keep the essence of who we are as a Nation to better our present without loosing our (societal, economical & political) heritages. The first risk to beat is the emotional agony of our fears, brought on by our constant consumerism, laziness, and now the plight of terrorism. The second risk is to assert a new strong elec toral law to represent fairly the elec torate. The third risk is to keep feeding the wolf of anarchy and starve the lion of citizenship. Supreme chances dem ands supreme risks. La République Tunisienne Al-Jumhūriyya at-Tūnisiyya est une Démocratie Arabe Musulmane. الجمهورية التونسية .مستقبلها حاضرنا . Son Avenir Est Notre Présent. L’origine est devant nous.
