Strategy is couture.

Strategy is clarity. It’s commitments. It’s unbiased truth and prises de position, like yours Bouchra to focus all your energy on being dedicated to @Lanvinofficial. So when you’re passionate about strategy, you’re passionate about clarity. Strategy is the only honest measure of progress. Being passionate about strategy means you’re ready to push forward. #BouchraJarrar was ready, but this is a strategy, a shift in what #AlberElbaz has built to bring the house of Lanvin to heights only she looked to inject à nouveau et autrement the #Jeanne in #Lanvin. That is what I believe Bouchra Jarrar looked to accomplished. It’s a book. The chapter before does not take precedence. The chapter after does not take prominence. The #fashion world is filled with many creative people, and with the right budget, you can hire lots of them. If you fill your atelier with extraordinares and design a strategy overflowing with heaps of incredible talents, you end up doing the right shift, like what @MaisonValentino did when #MariaGraziaChiuri and #PierPaoloPiccioli were brought in by @GiancarloGiammetti to start another chapter with @RealMrValentino’s st andard of excellence. Yet, Monsieur Valentino, without giving a carte blanche, has let the duo express themselves. The result is under the eyes of all. Strategy is clarity.
Your fashion house is a team and a strategy and can only work as well as its members can work together. Maybe Bouchra Jarrar was not a couture fit for the house, maybe she could not get in to the creative dna curve – I believe she does but that’s my opinion- but we will never know the answer since the most important mean at her disposal went denied: strategy. Madame Wang’s st and is important to clarify to the team and the industry on why a disconnect exists between her vision and the other shareholders. This is beyond a bad sales season or two. Look @Prada’s sales turbulences, yet #Prada will come of it. Why? Strategy. Not (only) #Miuccia. Lanvin is a patrimoine français to be protected. Thank you Bouchra ?Arpège chance ?
