PARIS | MODE MASCULINE SS 2015 | WALTER VAN BEIRENDONCK
Toucans. Sharks. Rifles. WHAMBAM!
If you are tired of Walter Van Beirendonck you are tired of fashion.
Never ever mundane, his affirmative Spring Summer 2015 transformed Men into Kings. Kings of Aesthetics, as are the Toucans.
Toucans are members of the family Ramphastidae of near passerine birds from the Neotropics. The Ramphastidae family is most closely related to the American barbets. They are brightly marked and have large, often colorful bills. The family includes five genera and about forty different species. The name of this bird group is derived from the Tupi word tukana, via Portuguese. The family includes toucans, aracaris and toucanets; more distant relatives include various families of barbets and woodpeckers in the suborde.[[More]]
Walter Van Beirendonck infused the Far East in imaginative tailoring of the jackets and shirts, floral kimonos and brough the broken suit to a new height by a double toned joined jackets and trousers. His bodysuits were a manifesto for his intertwined Nouveau Surréalisme: elongated tops, trim pleated trousers and visuals of Sharks and Rifles.
Walter is the ultimate stylist of Dada
