#SeeMe is certified by the World Fair Trade Organisation and therefore operates in accordance with the WFTO 10 Fair Trade principles to empowers #women victims of #violence to lead independent lives through the provision of sustainable work. #SeeMe is the result of a decade of work in #MiddleEast and #NorthAfrica. Each of our items is uniquely h andcrafted in #Tunisia and #Turkey by women trained as artisans coming for the shelter home run by the #Amal association in #Tunis and by the #Keid association in #Ankara. For the first 15 years of her career, #CaterinaOcchio was a development aid manager specializing in social inclusion. Pioneering the fair luxury movement, in 2012, she founded SeeMe, a br and producing sleek heart-shaped jewelry. All #SeeMe #Hearts are h andcrafted by women who have been victims of #violence. In fact, #SeeMe aims at bridging luxury and fair trade and is exp anding fast, from heart to heart. The #SeeMe model is based on some deep convictions:

– Charity is not sustainable, independent income is required to achieve long term, positive change. It is essential to develop an individual’s ability to make it without support.

– The Fair Trade and luxury industry need to work together to create greater impact. Producing premium objects items on a fair trade basis can represent a win-win solution for both, we have a long way to go.

– In all that we do, we want to honour the women that we work with and countries that they come from.
