L’ORFÉE DE SÉNECTERRE
___ #SaintLaurent is not an outrageous movement of wild cultural fashion anarchy. #SaintLaurent is its own world, where women and men silhouettes coexisted to create a french phrasé of couture pieces, composed of tuxe do beats, chiffon pitchy singing, and sequined shouted words. #HediSlimane wants nothing ever trending, but has everything: #Paris and #LosAngeles. #HediSlimane is the son of an #Italia.n mother and a #Tunisia.n father, who wanted nothing more than a life full of sociological dimensions of Black’s with infectious easy-going Rock’s erudition. #HediSlimane began to recompose the traditional couture ateliers of the house in 2012. There are two ateliers. “L’Atelier Flou” for dressmaking, and “L’Atelier Tailleur” for the tailoring. HediSlimane determines which of these pieces will carry the ateliers h and-sewn couture label “#YvesSaintLaurent”. The ateliers, which also produce rare commissioned h and made pieces for movie stars and musicians, keep a strict record of all the couture pieces in a gold monogram book. The ateliers are located on the third and fourth floors, one floor above “les salons d’essayage de la maison de couture”. The first floor has 4 salons. “Le Salon d’Honneur” faces the classic column facade. there was no garden left. #HediSlimane commissioned the help of his torian to replicate the precise authenticity of the design. The new geometric garden of the couture house has been entirely replanted from XVIII century archives. The couture house is named “HÔTEL RE SÉNECTERRE” and was originally built in 1685 by architect #ThomasGobert, the building planner of the King of France, Louis XIV. Renovated by #HediSlimane during the last 3 years, the design follows french 18th Century period elements and principles of architecture. The furniture includes both the House and #HediSlimane’s private collection. The 18th century chairs are of royal origin and last belonged to the Duc de Penthièvre. Art Deco torches belonged to #YSL. The furniture is LouisSognot’s, rateau and vases are #Dun and’s, found by hedi slimane, like the res tored monumental XVIII century period crystal ch andelier for the salon and the his torical staircase that was built under Louis XV. #HediSlimane’s personal collection includes an important ensemble of furniture from his favorite modernist designer Elizabeth Eyre de Lanux. The American artist lived in Paris. Her work was often collected by french couturiers – rare designs reduced to strict minimal luxury like the 1930’s parchment desk that belonged to Yves Saint Laurent, rue de Babylone. The House collections curated by #HediSlimane include paintings of #AdReinhardt or a black “ultimate” painting. Hedi also commissioned #NewYork artist #GarthWeiser to paint a black and white diptych for the monumental staircase completed in 2014. “5, Avenue Marceau” was the last couture house of #YSL and became @Fondation_PB_YSL. The #YvesSaintLaurent new couture house, ladies and gentlemen, “24, rue de l’Université” Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Sin & Holiness. #HediSlimane is #SaintLaurent. #SaintLaurent is #HediSlimane.
