#Chapter’s S/S 2016 collection, #DISPLACEMENT, represents a reflection of our past and a look to the future. Inspired by visual refraction and mirroring, the design s tory is one that signifies the unrelenting drive and evolution of the br and’s ethos as we move in to a space that is just beyond the familiar. The collection’s silhouettes take on a boxier shape with tops and a more tailored approach to bot toms, producing an inverted effect that evokes comfort and style. Three-dimensional patterns throughout the line are inspired by the repetitive geometry found in the reflections of a kalei doscope, but blurred for a more subtle effect. Linen, rayon, cot ton and synthetic blended knits in deep, rich colors of plum, blood, lavender, navy and olive are over-dyed to give a worn opulence to each piece. And there is black, of course. Always black. Black just as vast as the s andy desert #Sahara of #Tunisia.
