Like every great artists, both knew everything was based on the close relationship between them and the subject. A gr and artist is a fragile persona. Your body of work and work of body will challenge the transgressive, the fears and the taboos. #YvesSaintLaurent and #PrinceRogersNelson did not seek nor did they provoke an entitlement on our free dom and our way of life. They did not expect nor did they invite a confrontation with conformity, feminity or masculinity. Only artistry, human nature, civilization and kindness. They were limitless canvasses against society’s titubances on gender, sex orientation and l’esprit obtus, freeing us from our wants to look up for our needs. They left us a legacy where everyone is from everywhere but feels oneness – so we are not judged by our taste, our race, our face or any of that snootiness.
