Cannes | MARTIN LIM fait son cinéma.

The actress Magalie Lépine-Blondeau was wearing MARTIN LIM white dress at Cannes yesterday at Cannes Film Festival. She was with direc tor Xavier Dolan for the tapis rouge of “Laurence Anyways”, in the Un Certain Regard competi ton.

MARTIN LIM is the meeting of two cultures, two worlds, but mainly the fusion of two designers who proved themselves on a national and international level, they are Danielle MARTIN & Pao LIM. Besides winning prestigious national and international awards, Martin and Lim are devoted designers who gained valuable experience while working with internationally renowned designers such as Christian Lacroix and Rol and Mouret.

Since the last few years, they perfected their knowledge about the North American market while collaborating with well established Canadian companies. They both graduated from the B.A. in Gestion et Design de la mode from École supérieure de mode de Montréal — UQAM, and thanks to the support of the Montreal Fashion Foundation, they pursued their studies in Lon don, where they graduated from the M.A. Fashion Womenswear of the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. These past few years, the work of MARTIN LIM was celebrated by the fashion journalists from Montreal, but also from Toron to, Pittsburg, Miami, New York City, Lon don and Hong Kong. Their clothes where shown in Lon don and New York City, but it is in Montreal that MARTIN LIM established its society in 2010. A year later, in 2011, MARTIN LIM were the Mercedes-Benz Start Up recipients for their impressive collection across a selective mast of new Canadian fashion designers.
