#ZuhairMurad’s #AW1920 takes us back to Marrakech in the 70s, where bohemian meets edge and colours of spices join gold disco to revisit the mysterious allure of #TalithaGetty’s irresistible style in #Morocco. Embroideries and coloured crystals are sprinkled like patchwork on the dresses, taking inspiration from the ideas and colours of these famous oriental rugs. Short dresses and jumpsuits, which are in high demand from the clients, are in warm tones of pink to purple and a bit of orange. Feathers are scattered on the sides. Lavaliere knots are embroidered with pearls. Sheath dresses with long, medieval sleeves where the back transforms into a cape, are divine. Silk tulles, crepe, chiffon, gazar, silk velvets reinforced the lightness and sensuality of these new couture pieces.
