PRIMAL PURSUITS
_
The art of being yourself. There is something much more uninhibited and even raucous about #NocturnalAnimals, which combines melodrama selves with a swell of teasing sophistication. Teasing sophistication? of course. Tom, The Ford, The Texan, sets the 1993 novel Tony and Susan by #AustinWright, which details the memories in impressions of an ex-wife (@AmyAdamsOfficial) after she is sent a manuscript by her former husb and (#JakeGyllenhaal), in the contemporary world emphasising its absurdity. All the #arte in the film is real – artists created it. @TomFord braced his intellect inside an imaginary European artist commenting on #America: exaggerated, overfed, ageing, which he subtly hint at in his heightened collections through his ability to edge our primal senses of the sophistiqué, the beautiful and the free à la #GeoffreyBeene. Geoffrey, one of Tom’s respected artistic men tors has inspired him; if you remember Tom Ford‘s Fall 2014 collection which reminisced as much as the Sixties as the Southwest in a “61” sparkling shift-dress an homage-paste to Beene’s “71 ( and 61)” well-known football frock. “It’s because they’ve let go of the conventions of what our culture tells us people should look like. That’s also the theme of the film: letting go of what you think you are supposed to be.” says the Tom. Fashion. Movies. Movies. Fashion. Style always has to serve substance. Primal Pursuits. Nocturnal Animals. You. Me. Us.
