Erring in the #Medina of #Tunis, I stumbled upon a Piet Mondrian-esque old door reminiscing his 1930’s “Composition en rouge, bleu, jaune”. I paused. Wasn’t for his 1965 Automne-Hiver Haute couture’s, that #YvesSaintLaurent commissioned @AzzedineAlaiaofficial, yes #AzzedineAlaia, to produce the prototype of his famous Mondrian-pattern dress? Yes. The very same dear #Azzedine, a proud #Arab descendent whom #Alaia family left #Granada (#Spain) during the #Inquisition to settle in #Siliana (#Tunisia), flaunted #Yves’s only real #SaintLaurent art d’être: se-duc-tion. Des femmes dans l’attente de l’improbable déambulent dans le pré de mes pensées: #Mondrian, #YSL, #Alaia. If you find me not within you, you will never find me. Ever.
