SCULPTING ON BLACK

The artwork of #YohjiYamomo to is pop, architectural, and humorous, with a hint of social commentary. His over the top clothes create a situation of sensory overload, which he sees as a reflection of everyday life in urban culture, especially the culture of New York, Tokyo or Paris. Through the use of mirrored black drapes, flowed by the designer to navigate identity and environment, #Yamamo to explores, again, the relationships between nature, fashion, and femmes. Thank you Yohji, we needed this quiet moment.
