L’#ARTIC #WEDDING

The #AW15 @Marni.official hallmarked juxtapositions of texture; colorblocking; a palette focused on faded bordeaux, blacks, and greiges, in which #EarthWindFire evening colors are interspersed; and made to symmetric fits, thick belts, high heels and Arctic insulation coats. #ConsueloCastiglioni, who has always been the label’s chief designer, still infuses Marni’s aesthetic of #European-inflected bohemianism. Her early design features included idiosyncratic prints and vintage-inspired shapes and fabrics are still also retained but they has become more and cyber streamlined. #Marni was launched in 1994 as a maker of modern-looking #furs and has exp anded in to ready- to-wear, h andbags, jewelry and eyewear, developing a reputation for under-the-radar coolness. Still in 2015: an under-the-radar iciness for Pôle Nord escapades. Cold has never been so cool.
