#FatenHamama is one of the most honoured actresses in the Arab World. Her seventy year career has witnessed many changes and seen many high points in Egyptian cinema. In 1954, Hamama chose #OmarSharif to co-star with her in a film. In this film, she uncharacteristically agreed to a romantic scene involving a kiss. During the filming, they fell in love. Sharif converted to Islam and married her. The couple co-starred in many films, their romantic relationship clearly evident on screen, a love s tory that defied social and religious barriers. As she approach her 84th birthday, she left the earth stage to join another one: eternity. #RIP. ‎‎
