REST IN PEN. Jean Cabut (Cabu), Stéphane Charbonnier (Charb), as well as Tignous and Wolinski, were cowardly killed with eight others of their #CHARLIEHEBDO peers by terrorists, today January 7 2015. Journalism can’t organize the world to please over-sensitive psychopaths. If something offends you as a Believer, contest it in civilize and cool headed fashions or don’t look at it. Yet if you’re greatly offended: raise your non-violence, not your gun. Today no Prophet was venged. Today no Muslim was venged. People’s free dom of belief should be respected. It shouldn’t be ridiculed or scorned or harmed. Let’s be frank. The West fears the East. I keep meeting women and men of goodwill in every part of the world, from every religion about HUMAN personhood which have cultural, religious, genealogical, and personal dimensions. Islam is a religion of peace and it is not right to associate it with terrorism. Christianity is a religion of peace and it is not right to associate it with terrorism. Judaism is a religion of peace and it is not right to associate it with terrorism.

Because it is news of the hour, all the racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, Christianophobia, and Jewishophobia on the rise in many regions of Europe, of the US, of the Middle East remind me that sixty years ago what was behind the burst of anti-Jewish sentiment is also behind the burst of anti-Islamic, anti-Christian and again anti-Jewish sentiment today. Prejudice, hatred, fanaticism have no religion.
