SCANDIANO | KODACHROME | Aperture Foundation produced the first book on Ghirri in English, and in 2010, Thomas Dem and organized the acclaimed exhibition La Carte d’Après Nature around the Ghirri’s pho tographs. His work was featured in the 2011 Venice Biennale, and last year the exhibition Luigi Ghirri – Project Prints was held at the Castello di Rivoli in Turin.

The largest exhibition of Ghirri’s oeuvre opened in April 2013 at the MAXXI Museum in Rome until Oc tober 28, 2013. Ghirri’s pho tographs were exhibited at the 2013 Venice Biennale Luigi Ghirri Vice Versa until Nov 24, 2013. Matthew Marks Gallery Los Angeles will organize an exhibition of Ghirri’s pho tographs in 2014. The Luigi Ghirri: Pensare per Immagini will be held at Institu to Moreira Salles in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Feb 6 – Apr 13, 2014.
