Warriors in the Art of Act. The Black Zen signé Ji Wenbo.

Combining traditional Chinese elements with modern styles, the designer has created China’ finest show of fashion at the Milan Fashion Week SS2014.

The designer behind it all is Ji Wenbo.

“We’ve gotten very positive feedback in Milan. Italy is an international stage; and it is the first time for me to display my underst anding and ideas about fashion on this stage. I’ve learnt a lot from my peers in Milan. Furthermore, my ideas are also echoed by some of the fashion designers in Italy. It is not easy to find designs featuring Chinese elements in Italy. So when my ideas about Chinese fashion were shown on the stage, the audiences were stunned by this Chinese inspiration.”. “This year, the collection is about SHE DE, the philosophical idea of “Zen”.

Ji Wenbo is a popular home-grown menswear br and. With a good sense of design and creativity, he is well-known among the fashion world of China. During his career, Ji Wenbo has been labelled as a Top Ten Chinese Fashion Designer and Top Designer of Men’s Collection, he has also been honoured with China’s most prestigious fashion award, the Golden Tripod.

However, as a Chinese designer, Ji Wenbo was not satisfied with his domestic success. He wanted to showcase Chinese fashion to the international vogue metropolis, Milan. Yesterday the show displayed Silent Opulence in Black & Silver palette. “SHE DE will allow fashion to gain a new life, the new oriental aesthetics will be explained with an underst anding heart.”

Cutting out the superfluous, by giving up & gaining, the complex ab doned itself to the quintessence of Chinese art ..
