Serbia | New York | Los Angeles | The Dragan Mrdja Shoestructured

Dragan Mrdja is a line of men’s shoes that marks a new direction in masculine luxury.

Dragan Mrdja studied architecture and has worked with some of today’s premier luxury design firms, including Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Massimo Vignelli, and Thad Hayes. Dragan Mrdja’s multidisciplinary practice includes the visual arts as well as furniture and lighting design. In creating this collection he has drawn on skills honed over years working in New York and Europe and applied them to something he has loved since childhood.

“My love affair with shoes began with a pair of emerald green patent leather bucks that I wore on my first day of elementary school. I a dored those shoes and have never forgotten how they made me feel when I put them on. Shoes to me are a symbol of change and new beginnings but also something that draws on the past. In designing this collection I have taken everything I’ve learned and done something completely new. I couldn’t be happier with the result.”

The Dragan Mrdja Collection had its debut at the Fashion Footwear Association of New York’s 2010 show where it was immediately recognized as a style breakthrough. It is currently on view at the Ferus Gallery in Los Angeles.
