A stunning tribute to British fashion designers played an important part in the Olympics closing ceremony in London.

Top models Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Stella Tennant, Georgia May Jagger, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Cole, Jourdan Dunn, Karen Elson, and David Gandy took to the catwalk wearing breathtaking dresses and suit from the British têtes-de-list designers . The models broke through lifesize images of themselves to reveal their sparkling and golden designs while they moved to the music “Fashion” by David Bowie.

The designer fashions included in the show came from greats such as Erdem, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Victoria Beckham, Christopher Kane, Jonathan Sanders and Paul Smith. Striking headwear was created for the event by top milliner Stephen Jones.

The Duchess of Cambridge was in attendance wearing a blue Bella dress from Whistles, the same design she wore to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The ceremony element was compassing the “Made in Britain” 360º à la foire commerciale. We remain unconvinced this added défilé to the olympian finale of the games to be fashion .. able.
