Berlinoises | Carré & Scarabées signés VONSCHWANENFLÜGELPUPKE

Eleonore von Schwanenflügel and Stephanie Pupke found the label VONSCHWANENFLÜGELPUPKE in 2011. The designers studied in Hamburg, Berlin and Lon don, then they met at the Potsdam based label Wunderkind and work thereafter as freelance designers in Berlin and Paris.

A cooperation through both cities distinguishes their style – it affects the collections statement.
The fascination is aligned with universal and intuitive themes and luxurious materials. Printed vegetables on finest silk and wool fabrics are honored as a classic carré.

The Premium Young Designers Award Spring Summer 2012 in the category accessories is granted to VONSCHWANENFLÜGELPUPKE for their h anddrawn and pho torealistic designs.

The detection of things and the sensitive interlinking of various disciplines in to the field of fashion is VONSCHWANENFLÜGELPUPKE. The alliance between international artists from Paris, Berlin and New York is shown for the first time in Oc tober 2011 – pho tographers, graphic artists, fashion designer, painters and architects use the scarfs as a work on canvas. At Capsule Show in Paris the precious work will be shown in conjunction with the first ready- to-wear womenswear collection.

VONSCHWANENFLÜGELPUPKE are playing with the codes of Berlin intransigence, but have a constant glance to Parisian elegance.
